Cheshire County Conservation District | 2011 | 73 pages

In 2011, New Hampshire's Cheshire County Conservation District explored the labor and infrastructure needs for farms in the county to provide farmers, agricultural service providers and community members with the information they need to promote economic viability of agriculture. The needs assessment reports on labor-related barriers faced by farmers in Cheshire County as well as potential activities in which farmers can participate to address labor concerns. In addition, the report discusses the potential for a sustainable labor system and what it means for Cheshire County. The second part of the report addresses infrastructure availability, needs and barriers to obtaining equipment.
